These started as an excuse to draw kiddie shoes, but my current desktop is a Blacksad page and it's getting into my brain and making me want to put puppy heads on children I have an embarrassing addiction to coffeeshop sketching, please send help... Trying to figure out how to draw one of the characters for a project my aunt and I are working on, woof woof

Dumpin' some stuff from the last few days...

For my sister's birthday last week. When my sister was a baby, I used to make her wear this onesie with bunny ears on it. There were 2, so I wore bunny ears too (the onesie would not fit my toddler-sized bod).

What, it's been a month, how did that happen? Guess I'd better feed the blog! BB TIGGIES from my trip to the zoo last weekend. (It was feeding time, and pretty crowded so I couldn't stay and draw them as long as I would have liked)

Some anteater doodles I did tonight after spending the day at the zoo. Anteaters are so freaking cute, I love them. Best. Animals.

Went a little crazy with the gradient tool tonight, and coloured some old sketches. People sketches done during various lunch breaks over the last semester

And while I was cleaning out my desk I found these zoo drawings I'd forgotten about, and decided to colour some of those too. Because you can never have enough tigers.

Apparently I should be restricted in my access to Photoshop.

I went to the Calgary Zoo a couple times over the winter break , trying to draw while your hands are slowly going numb adds to the challenge! Non-animal blog posts coming soon, hopefully.
